A Fuzzy Extension of Simplified Best-Worst Method (F-SBWM) and Its Applications to Decision-Making Problems

Today, most of the issues and challenges faced by managers decision makers are complex multifaceted. More clearly, due to developments technologies, emerging trends in various industries, competitive markets, rapid transformative changes business environment, have an uncertain environments that cannot be resolved definitively. The use multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods as a practical decision-supporting tool allows examine organizations industries based on criteria, alternatives, objectives make decisions with greater reliability. fuzzy techniques concepts MCDM their mathematical relationships makes it possible consider complexities uncertainties related can lead better more realistic decisions. In this paper, simplified best-worst method (SBWM), which is one pairwise comparisons, has been developed using triangular numbers (TFNs) propose extension SBWM (F-SBWM). Triangular different symmetric asymmetric forms widely used approaches comparisons. It noteworthy when we equal division domain increased ambiguity lack information. proposed approach helps solve problems under uncertainty without need for calculations, specialized skills, software packages. To check feasibility applicability approach, two numerical examples computational experiment real data presented, results analyzed discussed. Furthermore, robustness obtained from sensitivity analysis comparison performed.
